Position Overview: One position is vacant to be based in CMAI Bangalore office.

Reporting to:   Secretary, Nurses League and General Secretary, CMAI.

Nature of job: Full time; to coordinate the activities of the BNESIB.  Should have good communication, leadership & networking skills, excellent team player and proficiency in computers.

Qualifications and requirements:

• Must be a member of the Nurses League of CMAI and TNAI.
• A Graduate Nurse preferably- MSc Nursing with 10 years of experience.
• Must have taught in a School/College of Nursing for at least 5 years
• Must have the ability in Administration and be self-motivated.
• Should be willing and able to travel.
• Proficiency in English and in any one of the southern regional languages.
• Good communication skills and ability to work with a team.

Responsibilities:

1. Carry on all correspondence of the Board and send necessary reports to the Indian Nursing Council and the State Nurses' and Midwives Council.
2. Keep files and records of BNESIB,
3. Conduct the Board and the Executive Committee in consultation with the Chairman.
4. Keep minutes and circulate the minutes to all members within 30 days.
5. Arrange for Examination Committees to set all examination papers.
6. Arrange for the printing, safe custody and distribution of the examination papers.
7. Arrange for examination schedule and appoint examiner for examinations after asking all schools for the name of persons available for this.
8. Shall keep a register of all examination result.
9. Shall make out certificates for successful candidates, sign and distribute them.
10. Shall arrange for periodical Inspection of schools of nursing.
11. Shall represent the Board on Nurses’ League Executive, M.I.B.E. and on any other Committees.
12. Shall handle publication details through CMAI for all books approved by the Board.
13. Shall be responsible for operating Board funds, maintain accounts, prepare Budget, present annual   audited statement of accounts to the Board.
