CMAI has been pioneer in providing ethical health care, capacity building, demonstrating models of health and development initiatives and knowledge dissemination. With the emerging need of skill development, CMAI aims to train youth from rural and urban India with speed and high standards in order to achieve the country’s vision of a ‘Skilled India’.
On July 29, 2016 CMAI in collaboration with Healthcare Sector Skill Council [HSSC] launched the Short term Training Courses in Allied Health Sciences in line with National Council of Vocational Training (NCVT). Through the CMAI- HSSC Short term training courses the AHP Section of CMAI aims to impart skills to the youth for employment in health sector and to develop Government Accredited professional skills and practical knowledge needed for job opportunities.
CMAI is offering Short Term Training in 4 different courses namely
- General Duty Assistant,
- Medical Laboratory Technician,
- Diabetes Educator,
- Vision Technician
This will be offered through 11 training centers situated in the states of Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Nagaland, Tamil Nadu and Uttar Pradesh. These training centers are affiliated to the Health Sector Skill Council and the National Skill Development Corporation, Delhi. Through its existing network, CMAI has initiated for multi-level engagement and impactful skill impactful skill development effort.
