Apart ftom Central Education Board, CMAI has planned to start the following short term courses, according to the NSDC / HSSC (Health Care Sector Skill Corporation) guidelines, (Under process)
- Medical Lab Assistant
- Bedside Assistance Home Health and Palliative Care
- Diabetes Care and Podiatry Education
- Ophthalmic Technology
To address young people who have not got the opportunity to pursue career development programme. The above course are to be conducted under the Academic Committee of AHP Section-CMAI, to encourage and build the capacity of the younger generation, considering the disappointments and difficulties they face due to lack of skills and competencies. The main objective is build skill and knowledge in specific areas to result in better job prospects.
These courses are open for all CMAI institutions and training centers that fulfill the requirements developed by the academic committee under AHP Section of CMAI. CMAI is in the process of getting accreditation from NSDC/HSSC for Short Term Training Courses (STTC). CMAI has sent the application form along with guidelines to all potential institution to start the STTC with HSSC accreditation.
CMAI is also planning to start a community College in collaboration with ICRDCE Chennai. Met Dr. Xavier Alphonse S.J at Chennai regarding this matter discussed the same
Mr.IR Asher convenor of MRTC has organized a Workshop at Scudder Memorial Hospital, Ranipet TN and participated and shared about CMAI.
